The Obamacare exchange is already showing how it lacks proper security. On the day of it’s launch it already had leaked the personal information of over 2,000 individuals to the wrong person.
According to a report, an employee of the Minnesota Obamacare exchange sent an un-encrypted file that contained personal information of many Americans to the wrong person.
The document this employee sent, had the Social Security, address, name and other data. It ended up in the hands of a local insurance broker.
The broker who received the file told the Minnesota Start Tribune, “What if this had fallen into the wrong hands? It’s scary. If this is happening now, how can clients of MNsure be confident their data is safe?”
